Charlie Daniels meets Yo La Tengo

Here's a picture from Dave & Barbara's Guy Fawkes party last night. The theme was "song titles". Can you guess both of us?

I didn't want to be the guy who misses a spot or two with the makeup, so I made sure to get it everywhere. A decision that I might be tempted to regret today, but I'm standing by it.

If  this costume hadn't popped into my head yesterday, I would've been the third guy at the party wearing a nametag that said "Sue". I like this costume for two reasons, one, when I was 8, I was in a band that "covered" this song a few times. I played the tennis racket. (Our other song was "Elvira"), and two, it's a bit of a shout out to my dear, sweet, dad.

Hey!
1) The Devil Went Down to Georgia was the song that inspired me to want to be a fiddle player when I was 5.
2) I was in a band where I played the tennis racket too! We were called "Eric & the Chicks". I was a chick.
